International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day falls on the 8th March, it is a day that is devoted to celebrating women’s achievements as well as seeking gender equality. All over the world International Women’s Day is celebrated in many ways, some countries have it as a national holiday whereas others combine it with Mother’s Day. It is important to celebrate women as they break down barriers and create new experiences every day therefore on this day, we highlight women’s rights and celebrate them.
Every year there is a change of theme for International Women’s Day, this year’s theme is ‘DigitaALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’. The theme is about celebrating and recognising the girls and women that are advocating for the advancements of digital education and transformative technology. At PALI we encourage ongoing development, with three of our female employees in Head Office currently studying towards Digital Marketing qualifications at all levels.
Here at PALI all our female staff are second to none. From the marketing team to the search team, the feedback from our clients is consistently excellent. Jo Milne joined the company in 2005 and is now the marketing director at PALI, she has built incredible relationships with our clients and always strives in digital innovation. Since this many more women have joined PALI, and each has been hardworking and beneficial to the company. We think that it is important to appreciate all our female staff on International Women’s Day for all their dedication and hard work.
What are you doing to celebrate International Women’s Day? Thank you again to all the powerful women at PALI.
